What a view!

On boxing day we went skiing at Cypress Mountain in Vancouver. We paused at a spot near the top and this bird was hopping curiously about. I managed to snap a picture of him looking curiously at us with the beautiful scenery in the background.

I'm a hobby photographer hoping to improve. I have a point-and-shoot digital at the moment, but can hardly wait to get my hot little hands on a DSLR and some nice lenses one day! I like to take pictures of almost anything, but I think I'm really drawn to rich colors and different textures in what I photograph. I really appreciate constructive criticism, so please feel free to tell me what you think, especially if there is something you think I could have done with a photo to make it better.
